What a kids haircut at Blessed looks like
From a first haircut to a back-to-school fade, the young ones get the same clean, careful work as everyone else — and the shop is family-friendly with parking right there.
Daphne guys get the kids haircut the whole Eastern Shore drives in for, without the drive.
Worth the drive from Daphne
You're already here — from US-98 it's about 6 minutes east on Daphne Ave (County Road 64) to Rand Ave, by the County Road 13 roundabout. Plenty of Daphne guys make this their regular kids haircut stop — you get evenings booked until 8:30 and a barber who speaks Spanish. Booking on Booksy locks in your barber and time before you head over.
Daphne skews young — about 25% of the town is under 18 and 33% of households have kids — so the kids' chair sees a lot of Daphne families.
Keeping a kids haircut sharp in Daphne
A kid's cut is half haircut, half patience. The barbers here are used to the wiggling and the 'I don't want to,' and they work fast and calm so it stays a good experience instead of a standoff. For a first cut especially, come at a low-key time — not right before a nap — and we keep it quick and let the kid hold the comb if that helps.
Right here in Daphne, Eastern Shore humidity is a year-round fact — it swells hair and slides heavy product right out — which is why we finish clean and build the cut to hold its own shape instead of leaning on a tube of gel.
